Job summary

GMP Technologies on Jurong Island is seeking an Analytical Lab Analyst. You will perform tests, prepare reagents, and maintain analytical instruments to support quality results. You will also ensure safety, document procedures, and assist in method development and validation.

The role requires hands-on experience with common lab instruments, a chemistry qualification, and readiness to work in a chemical plant environment with hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• Perform tests per analysis plan and communicate findings to operations personnel.
• Set up, calibrate, verify, and troubleshoot lab instruments to ensure proper working order.
• Prepare reagents, synthesis standards, and calibration solutions for analysis.
• Conduct risk assessments, follow safe laboratory practices, and maintain quality records.
• Provide training and technical support to lab technicians while assisting in method development and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lab testing and analysis as per the analysis plan.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure reliable data.
• Prepare reagents, standards, and calibration solutions for accurate analysis.
• Ensure safety and compliance with laboratory practices and document quality records.
• Assist in method development and validation and train junior staff.
