Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Shift QC Lab Technician on a 1-year contract to support product quality control through analytical testing and investigations.

You will calibrate and troubleshoot instruments (GC, HPLC, GPC, FTIR, KF titrators, viscometers), review quality and safety documents, and perform routine lab duties including inventory, chemical preparation, safety checks, 5S and housekeeping. Diploma holders with 1–2 years in a lab are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemistry/Chemical Science/Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in an analytical laboratory environment in the chemical industry preferred.
• Experience with analytical lab instruments such as GC, HPLC, GPC, FTIR, KF titrators and viscometers.

Responsibilities

• Support lab operations by conducting analytical testing for product quality control, verification, audit, investigation and troubleshooting.
• Perform calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting and training of lab instruments (GC, HPLC, GPC, FTIR, KF titrators, Viscometers and others).
• Review and update Quality and Safety documents (Work Instructions, Risk Assessments, Forms).
• Carry out lab duties: inventorising, chemical preparation, safety and facility checks, 5S and housekeeping.
• Participate in continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Digitalization and Operation efficiency.
