Job summary

corestaff pte. ltd. partners with a well-established Singapore-based logistics company to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day passenger, cargo and ground operations and ensure compliant activities across the site.

You will develop operational, manpower and deployment plans, manage safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards while coordinating maintenance, budgeting and staff development to meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in operations management, logistics, aviation, or related field.
• Experience in operations, aviation, logistics, or related industry.
• Good understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Comfortable using digital applications and software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee passenger, cargo, and ground operations, ensuring smooth and compliant day-to-day activities
• Develop operational, manpower, and deployment plans to meet customer and operational requirements
• Manage passenger ladder operations, airbase escort engagements and overseas deployment activities
• Oversee cargo handling, including Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Dangerous Goods (DG), and hazardous materials
• Support fixed-base operations for foreign military aircraft and ensure compliance with site requirements
• Coordinate maintenance of facilities, vehicles, and operational equipment, including Government Furnished Equipment (GFE / GFP)
• Ensure SOPs, work instructions, and operational processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency measures
• Lead safety briefings, operational exercises, audits, and corrective / preventive actions
• Manage manpower plannings, staff trainings, competency, and security clearance requirements
• Support recruitment, staff retention, and team development initiatives
• Assist with departmental budgeting, procurement, claims, and resource planning
