Job summary

Luce SG is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to join our Singapore-based team. You will oversee day-to-day operations, mentor a team of overseas operations staff, and help shape service delivery for residential and commercial clients.

A Diploma and at least 2 years in a senior role are required. Fluency in English; Mandarin/Bahasa skills are a plus. The role offers a full-time schedule 8:30 am–6:00 pm, Mon–Fri, with competitive monthly pay.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in a senior operations, customer service, corporate planning, strategy or managerial role at the same company.
• Strong English writing ability; Mandarin and Bahasa are a bonus for cross-language liaison.
• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma required.
• Full-time role with immediate start; Singapore-based.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the services department.
• Rotate through executive-level duties in operations to gain oversight.
• Propose process changes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Manage a team of operations executives located overseas and monitor KPIs.
• Track process changes and update SOPs.
• Research pricing and service trends of competitors.
• Develop plans to implement and improve business strategies in operations.
• Align resources and goals with overall business strategy.
• Support executives during organizational changes.

The Position: We’re looking for an Assistant Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Being directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the company services department
• Periodically rotate through the work duties of executive-level staff in the operations department.
• Propose modifications for the work duties of executive staff to increase work efficiency, decrease human error and align the executive’s work duties with other departments
• Directly manage the performance and KPI achievement of a team of operations executives based overseas
• Track changes in work processes and periodically update standard operating procedure manuals
• Research pricing and service trends of national and international competitors
• Create plans for implementing and improving business strategies in the operations department
• Assess the company’s operational and strategic performance
• Align processes, resources-planning and department goals with the company’s overall business strategy
• Provide support to executive-level staff when the company undergoes significant organisational changes

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a senior operation, senior customer service, corporate planning, strategical or managerial role (the two years should be at the same company).
• Strong logical thinking and reasoning ability.
• Strong English writing ability. Mаndarin and Bаhаsа speaking and or writing skills are also a bonus. in order to liaise/communicate with business partners or customers with different language backgrounds.
• Strong English writing abilities for producing clear, concise instructions
• Strong ability and confidence to make decisions and present convincing reasoning on why you will make a decision
• Creative problem solving skills and logical thinking ability
• Confidence in learning and becoming proficient in new types of technology, including complicated automation technology
• Strong ability to manage time well
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, in any field.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin, because need to deal with Chinese speaking candidates and clients
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Full-Time position. Ability to start immediately preferred.
