Luce SG, a Singapore-based tech-powered services provider, seeks an Assistant Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations in Singapore and manage a team of executives overseas. The role emphasizes efficiency, cross-language communication, and strategic process improvements.

The candidate should have at least 2 years in a senior operational role, strong English writing, and willingness to liaise with Chinese-speaking partners. Full-time, in-person work hours 8:30–18:00, Mon–Fri.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a senior operation, senior customer service, corporate planning, strategical or managerial role (the two years should be at the same company).
• Strong English writing ability; Mandarin and Bahasa speaking/writing skills are a bonus for liaising with partners or customers of different language backgrounds.
• Strong English writing abilities for producing clear, concise instructions.
• Strong ability and confidence to make decisions with convincing reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Involved in day-to-day operations of the services department.
• Rotate through executive-level duties in the operations department.
• Propose modifications to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
• Directly manage the performance and KPI achievement of overseas operations staff.
• Track changes in processes and update SOPs.

The Position: We’re looking for an Assistant Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Being directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the company services department
• Periodically rotate through the work duties of executive-level staff in the operations department.
• Propose modifications for the work duties of executive staff to increase work efficiency, decrease human error and align the executive’s work duties with other departments
• Directly manage the performance and KPI achievement of a team of operations executives based overseas
• Track changes in work processes and periodically update standard operating procedure manuals
• Research pricing and service trends of national and international competitors
• Create plans for implementing and improving business strategies in the operations department
• Assess the company’s operational and strategic performance
• Align processes, resources-planning and department goals with the company’s overall business strategy
• Provide support to executive-level staff when the company undergoes significant organisational changes

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a senior operation, senior customer service, corporate planning, strategical or managerial role (the two years should be at the same company).
• Strong logical thinking and reasoning ability.
• Strong English writing ability. Mаndarin and Bаhаsа speaking and or writing skills are also a bonus. in order to liaise/communicate with business partners or customers with different language backgrounds.
• Strong English writing abilities for producing clear, concise instructions
• Strong ability and confidence to make decisions and present convincing reasoning on why you will make a decision
• Creative problem solving skills and logical thinking ability
• Confidence in learning and becoming proficient in new types of technology, including complicated automation technology
• Strong ability to manage time well
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, in any field.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin, because need to deal with Chinese speaking candidates and clients
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Full-Time position. Ability to start immediately preferred.
• Working Hour(s): 8.30 am - 6.00 pm, Mon - Fri. Contactable outside of Office Hours for Operational Issues
