Qualifications

• Minimum Higher Nitec in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, inventory management, or logistics operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience leading warehouse teams and managing day-to-day operations.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of inventory control, warehousing best practices, and logistics operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ASRS, Kardex, Hänel, warehouse automation systems, or Power BI will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, kitting, packing and dispatch.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and real-time visibility across materials and finished goods.
• Establish and maintain warehouse SOPs, FIFO/FEFO practices and traceability.
• Manage manpower planning, productivity monitoring and staff development.
• Manage warehouse systems including ASRS, WMS, ERP inventory modules and data accuracy.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics with freight forwarders and 3PLs.
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Quality and Sales to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, 5S and digitalization initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs such as OTIF, picking accuracy and warehouse utilization.

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and driven Warehouse Operations & Systems Assistant Manager to lead warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics coordination, and warehouse systems management. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across warehouse and logistics functions while supporting manufacturing and customer delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, kitting, packing, and dispatch activities.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, stock integrity, and real-time inventory visibility across raw materials, WIP, spare parts, and finished goods.
• Establish and maintain warehouse SOPs, including FIFO/FEFO practices, material handling standards, and traceability requirements.
• Manage warehouse manpower planning, task allocation, productivity monitoring, and staff development.

Warehouse Systems & Digitalization

• Manage warehouse systems, including ASRS, Kardex, Hänel VLMs, WMS/WCS, and ERP inventory modules.
• Ensure system transactions accurately reflect physical inventory movements.
• Maintain master data integrity, including warehouse locations, storage bins, and inventory parameters.
• Partner with IT and internal stakeholders on system enhancements, automation initiatives, and digitalization projects.
• Drive barcode scanning, labeling standards, and system compliance across warehouse operations.

Logistics & Transportation Management

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities with freight forwarders, transport providers, and 3PL partners.
• Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance, permits, and Incoterms compliance.
• Optimize transportation planning and shipment consolidation to improve service levels and cost efficiency.
• Monitor logistics performance and support vendor management, contract administration, and rate negotiations.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, and Sales teams to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.
• Support production schedules through timely material staging and kitting readiness.
• Coordinate management of non-conforming and quarantine materials.
• Act as the escalation point for warehouse and logistics-related operational issues.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Support internal and external audits related to inventory, warehouse systems, and logistics processes.
• Monitor operational KPIs, including inventory accuracy, OTIF delivery, picking accuracy, warehouse utilization, and logistics costs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives through Lean, 5S, process optimization, and digital transformation projects.
