Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst in Singapore to partner with business stakeholders, gather and document requirements, and drive end-to-end software delivery. The role involves coordinating change requests, facilitating workshops, and supporting UAT with cross-functional teams across ERP, CRM, and retail systems.

You will work closely with project managers, developers, and vendors to ensure solutions meet business needs, with a strong emphasis on communication and governance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or application delivery roles.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, process flows, business rules, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end software delivery lifecycle: requirements, design, UAT, implementation, change management.
• Experience working with business users, project teams, developers, and external vendors to deliver outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to facilitate workshops and drive discussions to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements for system enhancements and projects.
• Prepare and review Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) with clearly defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder discussions, and process reviews to identify business needs and solutions.
• Coordinate change requests from submission through implementation, managing scope, timelines, and expectations.
• Collaborate with PMs, analysts, developers, and vendors to ensure solutions align with approved requirements.
• Support UAT planning, defect tracking, issue resolution, and business sign-off.

Job Description

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for system enhancements, change requests, and projects.
• Prepare and review Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), ensuring requirements, business rules, process flows, and acceptance criteria are clearly defined.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder discussions, and process reviews to identify business needs and deliver practical solutions.
• Coordinate change requests from submission through implementation, ensuring priorities, scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed.
• Work closely with Project Managers, System Analysts, developers, and vendors to ensure solutions are aligned with approved business requirements.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, defect tracking, issue resolution, and obtaining business sign-off.
• Monitor project and enhancement progress through tools such as Freshservice, ClickUp, Jira, or similar platforms, highlighting risks, blockers, and dependencies.
• Provide guidance and support to Business Analysts, assisting with workload coordination, document reviews, and best practices.
• Maintain clear communication with business and technical teams, providing regular status updates and escalating key issues when required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis processes, templates, documentation standards, and governance practices.

The Successful Applicant

• At least 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or application delivery roles.
• Proven experience gathering and documenting business requirements, process flows, business rules, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Strong knowledge of the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, UAT, implementation, and change management.
• Experience working closely with business users, project teams, developers, and external vendors to deliver successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to facilitate workshops, challenge requirements, and drive discussions to resolution.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple change requests, projects, and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Freshservice, Azure DevOps, ClickUp, or similar workflow and ticketing platforms.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to Business Analysis best practices.
• Exposure to enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, retail, finance, inventory, POS, or e-commerce systems would be advantageous.
• Business Analysis, Agile, ITIL, CBAP, CCBA, or related certifications would be a plus, but are not essential.
