About the Role
Join our team to help create safe, well-maintained and welcoming spaces for everyone. You will oversee daily building operations, work closely with clients and service partners, and support a collaborative site team in delivering reliable facilities and property management services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily building operations, maintenance and service delivery to meet agreed standards and client requirements.
- Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs and improvement works for building systems and facilities.
- Monitor the performance of contractors and service providers, including cleaning, security, landscaping and maintenance teams.
- Conduct regular inspections, follow up on service issues and coordinate timely corrective actions.
- Support compliance with applicable safety requirements, statutory obligations and site procedures.
- Manage budgets, expenditure, procurement and service contracts, ensuring appropriate cost control.
- Build positive relationships with clients, occupants and stakeholders, responding to feedback with care and professionalism.
- Guide and support the site team, encouraging teamwork, knowledge sharing and respectful communication.
- Prepare operational reports, maintenance records and recommendations for service improvements.
- Support emergency preparedness, incident response, sustainability initiatives and improvements to the occupant experience.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by your supervisor.
What You Bring
- Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Property Management, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3 - 8 years of experience in facilities, building or property management, with the ability to coordinate site operations and service providers.
- Possess Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification with at least 3 years of experience in FSM
- Working knowledge of building systems, maintenance planning, contract administration and safety practices.
- Familiarity with government procurement procedures and payment processes.
- Clear communication, sound judgement and a collaborative approach to resolving issues.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities and follow through on commitments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management systems.
- Ability to travel between multiple assigned sites.
