We are seeking a detailed-oriented Assistant Manager (Fire/Lift/Esc) to join our Facilities Management and Engineering team. This role is responsible for managing a team and vendors to perform fire protection, Lift and escalator preventive and corrective maintenance. You'll play a key role in ensuring the equipment are well maintained to avoid unforeseen breakdown and eliminate downtime that may affect safety and guest experience.
Assist in managing the maintenance and operation of building infrastructures, systems and services within an assigned areas of responsibilities to ensure all building infrastructures, systems and services within the assigned areas are functioning safely and optimally.
Assist in managing operation and monitoring systems' performance to ensure 24/7 smooth operations of RWS.
Ensure all incidents, defects or system faults are attended to promptly upon discovery or notification.
Ensure prompt response and follow-up on any work requests or feedback.
Ensure timeliness in project executions and repair works to avoid causing any disruption to business.
Ensure compliance with all authorities, security and safety regulations.
Assist in managing both internal and external engagements.
Assist in the planning, management and execution of all FME projects.
Provide relevant inputs to the Team Lead in both CAPEX and OPEX budget planning to meet operational needs.
Manage CAPEX and OPEX spending within the approved budget.
Assist in ensuring the team's compliance with all established work processes.
Assist the Team Lead in driving operational effectiveness and efficiencies improvement through regular review of standard operating procedures, work instructions, work processes and system technologies.
Assist in the regular review of operation related risks and put in place appropriate mitigation controls.
Assist in proper scoping of technical requirements for corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance contracts/tender.
Ensure works done for outsourced contracts are verified before completion of receiving function for payment processing.
Manage and execute predictive maintenance and technology refresh of assets
Diploma/Degree in either electrical, mechanical and/or civil engineering with relevant experience in facilities system design, operation and management.
Min 3 years' experience in large commercial establishments, with a strong background in managing operation, maintenance, engineering, and/or project management of building services and facilities.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and customer service skills with attention to details
Effective interpersonal communication skills, multi-tasking and time management skills.
Broad based experience of computer systems and MSOffice suites to include MSWord, Excel & PowerPoint
Team player and ability to promote cross functional collaboration
