Job summary

SAFRA National Service Association is seeking a capable events professional to lead planning, management and execution of Community Defence events and outreach programmes. You will supervise the Projects team, coordinate roadshows, exhibitions and engagements, and ensure timely delivery aligned with club objectives.

You will monitor performance, manage budgets, engage partners and vendors, and support marketing across platforms.

Qualifications

• Supervise and mentor team members to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Experience in end-to-end event planning, coordination and execution.
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
• Ability to monitor programme performance and prepare reports for management.
• Experience managing stakeholders and vendors across partnerships.
• Supporting marketing and communications for events and campaigns.
• Ability to work weekends and Public Holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, management and execution of Community Defence events, roadshows and outreach programmes.
• Supervise the Projects team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate CD events, exhibitions and outreach activities to boost awareness and resilience.
• Develop engagement initiatives aligned with club objectives and member needs.
• Monitor attendance, engagement metrics, and feedback; report findings.
• Oversee budgeting, ensuring prudent resource use and compliance with policies.
• Coordinate logistics: venue setup, registration, AV, materials, staffing.
• Build relationships with members, partners, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Support marketing content across social, website and EDMs.
• Ensure events comply with club policies and safety requirements.
