Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager, Accounting for a manufacturing MNC with regional exposure. You will lead a Finance team, supervise colleagues across Singapore and Vietnam, and partner with the Financial Controller on regional finance matters.

The role offers permanent employment, Mon–Fri hours, and travel across Asia approximately quarterly. You will drive process improvements and ensure strong financial controls within a manufacturing context.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising teams and coordinating across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of month-end closing processes.
• Ability to work with regional stakeholders and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting and finance operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Supervise and guide approximately 2-3 team members in Singapore and 4-5 team members in Vietnam.
• Review the team's work to ensure accurate and timely accounting deliverables.
• Work closely with the Financial Controller and regional Finance stakeholders.
• Support month-end / year-end closing, reporting and accounting activities.
• Ensure proper financial controls, accounting policies and processes are followed.
• Support regional Finance matters and cross-border coordination.
• Provide guidance and coaching to Finance team members.
• Participate in process improvements and Finance initiatives.
• Travel within Asia approximately once every quarter for business requirements.

You will be part of a Finance team of approximately 12 and take on team supervisory responsibilities across Singapore and Vietnam.
