Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager for a multinational manufacturing role in Tai Seng. You will oversee full finance breadth, partnering with senior management and leading a small team of 2 accounts professionals.

You will report to the Senior Director, Finance and contribute to planning, costings, ERP initiatives and process improvements while driving robust controls and compliance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting
• Review journals, accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and review management accounts, financial analysis and variance reports
• Oversee AP, AR, GL, fixed assets and treasury activities
• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
• Review product costing, inventory valuation and manufacturing cost allocations
• Analyse material, labour and overhead variances and provide insights to operations
• Lead budgeting and forecasting exercises and monitor performance against targets
• Support cash flow planning and working capital management
• Coordinate internal and external audits, tax matters and statutory filings
• Partner with business and operations teams on financial performance and decision-making
• Lead, coach and develop a team of 2 finance professionals
• Drive finance process improvements, automation and ERP enhancements
• Support finance transformation and other ad-hoc business projects

$7,500 - $8,500/month

Monday - Friday | 8.00am - 5.30pm

The Role

Join a growing finance team as an Assistant Finance Manager, where you will oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations while partnering closely with senior management and business stakeholders.

You will report directly to the Senior Director, Finance and lead a team of 2 Accounts Executives, with opportunities to contribute to financial planning, business partnering, costing, process improvements and ERP initiatives.
