RIGEL TECHNOLOGY (S) PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a hands-on Logistics Manager to oversee warehousing, distribution, and inbound/outbound planning. You will lead the logistics and warehouse team, optimise processes, and ensure on-time delivery to customers and project sites.
This role focuses on developing strategies, managing third-party providers, monitoring KPIs, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Oversee and manage the overall logistics, warehouse, and distribution operations.
Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Lead, manage, and develop the logistics and warehouse team, including manpower planning and performance management.
Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, transportation, and delivery schedules.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers, project sites, and other locations.
Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, loading, and dispatching.
Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records through regular stock checks and reconciliation.
Coordinate closely with suppliers, customers, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Monitor transportation and logistics costs and implement cost-saving initiatives where appropriate.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and warehouse operations.
Identify operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Review and improve warehouse and logistics processes to enhance productivity and service quality.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of goods to minimise damage, loss, and discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Oversee the maintenance and proper utilisation of warehouse equipment, vehicles, and other logistics resources.
Manage relationships and performance of third-party logistics providers and transport vendors.
Prepare regular logistics, inventory, cost, and operational reports for management.
Support business expansion, warehouse projects, and other operational initiatives as required.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations, with supervisory experience preferred.
Good knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations.
Strong organisational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and manage a team effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with warehouse management systems is an advantage.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
