Job summary

GE Aerospace Singapore Engine Services provides essential support to manufacturing operations, driving efficiency, quality and safe production in a dynamic MRO environment.

As an Operations Support Associate, you will assist production teams, perform inspections, maintain records, and help implement safety and quality standards while driving continuous improvements with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; a technical certificate or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering) is a plus.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably within the aviation or aerospace sector.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Proficiency in using basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, and moving materials as needed.

• Maintain accurate production records, logs, and databases, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
• Support the implementation and adherence to safety protocols, quality standards (e.g., AS9100), and environmental regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for process optimization and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with various departments, including engineering, quality assurance, and logistics, to facilitate smooth production flow.
• Contribute to the upkeep and organization of the manufacturing workspace, ensuring a clean and efficient environment.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving, issuing, and tracking materials and components.
