Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an organized Order Coordinator for our Singapore site to monitor customers' orders and ensure on-time delivery. You will work with shop production control to address delays and help meet site sales targets.

You will handle order processing, document generation for shipment and billing, and assist in responding to customer inquiries. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and proficient in Microsoft Office, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O level/SPM with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and understand English SOPs and operation sheets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications (Excel/Word).

Responsibilities

• Track status of customers' orders to ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with shop production control on delays and recommit dates.
• Highlight delays to Customer Service for follow-up with customers.
• Process orders, prepare scrap replacement allocations, and generate shipment and billing documents.
• Assist in replying to customer inquiries.
• Participate in EHS / Teaming activities.

GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Essential Responsibilities

• Tracking of the status of customers' orders to ensure orders are completed timely.
• Working with the shop production control technicians or planners on any order delays for a recommit Estimated ship date.
• Highlight any delays and issues encountered with the orders to Customer Service account holder for follow up with customers.
• Orders processing, by completing scrap replacement allocation (if any) and generate documents for shipment and billing of the orders.
• Assist in replying any customers' inquiries.
• Participate in EHS / Teaming activities.

The Ideal Candidate

An organized and responsive candidate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'O' level/SPM and/or with 3 years of relevant experience
• Able to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications (eg. Excel / Word)
