About the role
This entry-level engineering role focuses on supporting field service operations, coordinating on-site projects, and driving aftermarket technical services. You will assist with cooling tower maintenance contracts, equipment delivery logistics, on-site installation oversight and spare parts service support. This position provides foundational hands-on engineering experience with a clear progression path toward a full Engineer role.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate transport schedules, site access, and delivery milestones with logistics providers and clients.
- Assist in supervising contractor teams during on-site positioning, mechanical assembly, and structural alignment of cooling towers.
- Support pre-commissioning checks, safety compliance reviews, and final handovers to client project managers.
- Conduct physical inspections and audits of operational cooling towers (fills, drift eliminators, fan blades, gearboxes, and motors).
- Identify spare parts requirements, verify inventory and generate technical cost estimations and commercial quotations.
- Present and structure Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for commercial buildings and industrial facilities.
- Serve as a primary technical contact for routine client servicing inquiries.
- Collaborate with the team to schedule spare parts delivery and installation.
- Monitor on-site repair work and basin lining activities to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
About you
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome. Prior internship experience in HVAC, rotating equipment, or MEP project coordination is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, basic knowledge of fluid mechanics/thermodynamics, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple project timelines; clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Class 3 driving license preferred (or willingness to travel frequently to local client sites).
