Job Summary
You will serve as the technical expert supporting consultants and accounts, bridging sales and factory capabilities to deliver tailored, cost-effective climate solutions for data centres and related facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical guidance to key consultants and accounts on product and system solutions
- Translate sales requirements into feasible technical solutions aligned with factory capabilities
- Prepare detailed technical selections, feasibility studies, and total cost of ownership (TCO) calculations for products and systems
- Develop accurate costing information to support the sales team's proposals
- Lead or contribute to tender responses ensuring technical compliance and competitive positioning
- Prepare compliance, deviation, and exception statements for technical submissions
- Collaborate proactively with internal and external stakeholders to design customer-specific solutions
- Assist supervisors in preparing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations for data centre cooling analysis
- Manage technical responsibilities related to Air Handling Units (AHU), Computer Room Air Handlers (CRAH), Computer Room Air Conditioners (CRAC), chillers, and ACMV systems
Required competencies and certifications
- Completed training as an industrial mechanical engineer (minimum 3 years) or Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
- Proficient knowledge in mechanical engineering, refrigeration, hydraulics, or related fields
- Business fluent in English to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and analysis
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and independently without direct supervision
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
