Job summary

ON ENGINEERS PTE. LTD. seeks a Diploma graduate in Electrical Engineering to perform site surveys, attend meetings with clients and contractors, and coordinate with owners to meet engineering requirements under EMA guidelines.

You will assist with inspections of LT/HT installations, prepare reports and method statements, and support preventive maintenance and shutdown activities while ensuring safety and quality.

• Able to work in a team and independently when required.

Responsibilities

• Attend site survey/meetings with clients and contractors to align electrical requirements.
• Prepare reports and method statements as needed; ensure EMA compliance.
• Assist in regular site inspections of LT/HT installations and maintenance programmes.
• Standby with LEW for emergency calls; identify root causes of faults and report.
• Interpret basic schematics and SLDs; may receive training for specialist equipment.
• Plan and execute corrective or preventive maintenance; support shutdown activities.
• Assist LEW in testing and commissioning of electrical systems; ensure safety.

Job Description

• To attend to site survey/meetings/discussions with client/contractors/sub-contractors on related matters together with the LEW (when required). Providing feasible solutions and coordinate with owners/users, consultants, vendors/contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensure the objectives are achieved.
• Ability to prepare report and method statement whenever necessary. Perform all electrical works in adherence to EMA regulations and guidelines with the LEW supervision
• Assisting the PE/LEW to carry out regular site inspections on LT and HT installations to ensure that all maintenance programmes are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
• Standby and partnering with LEW in attending to emergency call up services at customer installations. Investigate and determine the root cause of the faults and report (where applicable)
• Able to interpret basic schematics and SLD diagrams. Required to take on a Specialist Equipment role, may be sent to receive specialised training and subsequently providing training to internal staff.
• Plan and execution of corrective or preventive maintenance programme. Participate in and support Annual Shutdown exercises as and when required. Ensure proper housekeeping of spare parts, equipment and tools.
• Assist the LEW in Test and commissioning of electrical system. Provide excellent service to meet client expectations. Ensure all works carried out safely and / or in accordance with safety procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) years’ experience in electrical engineering enviroment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill.
