Job summary

Concord Corporation Pte Ltd is seeking a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) to oversee electrical installations and supervise on-site activities in Singapore. The role involves ensuring compliance with EMA regulations, guiding testing and commissioning, and coordinating with subcontractors and OEMs to meet project timelines.

The candidate should hold an LEW Grade 7 or 8 electrical technician license, a diploma in Electrical/Electrical Power Engineering, and relevant Singapore experience.

• Carry out regular inspection and responsible for his own temporary electrical installations
• Monitor and guide on electrical installation and testing works
• Perform testing and monthly inspection on site power tools
• Responsible for the supervision and coordination of subcontractors work at site
• Ensure compliance to statutory regulations, code of practice and the Company’s safety rules and regulations
• Assist and support project site operation, and ensure timely completion of electrical work activities
• The LEW shall ensure that all electrical installations comply with EMA requirements
• Supervision and coordination with OEM and Sub-Contractor on Site Testing and Commissioning.
• Review and endorsement of SLD
• Carry out operational switches under the authorization of Project’s LEW
• Understanding of the subsidiary regulations’ electrical safety in Singapore

Qualifications and Work Experience

• Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Grade 7 or Gradd 8 – Electrical Technician, registered with EMA.
• Diploma in Electrical / Electrical Power Engineering or other qualification acceptable to EMA.
• Minimum2 year ofrelevant practicalelectricalexperiencein Singapore, OR
• Possesses an electrician’s license with at least 5 years of relevant practical experience in Singapore, in accordance with EMA requirements.
• Familiar with Singapore Electricity Act 2001 and relevant subsidiary legislation.
• Able to perform duties within the scope and limitations of LEW Grade 8, including taking charge of electrical installations up to 500 kVA.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office / Excel application.
• Able to work independently, maintain proper records and documentation.
• Able to handle duties as required at site.
• Committed and dedicated to assigned duties by the company.
