Job summary

GREENSAFE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD.

seeks a capable Electrical Worker to oversee and perform electrical installation, inspection, testing, maintenance and related works in line with EMA regulations and site safety. The role includes LEW duties where required, supervision of contractors, drawing reviews, coordination with vendors and rapid response to emergencies while ensuring compliance with Singapore safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid LEW licence issued by the Singapore authority.
• Experience in electrical installation, maintenance or facilities management.
• Good knowledge of Singapore electrical regulations and safety requirements.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills when coordinating with teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the appointed LEW for assigned installations.
• Inspect, test, maintain and repair electrical systems.
• Inspect electrical distribution systems, switchboards and DBs.
• Troubleshoot faults and propose corrective actions.
• Isolate, switch and restore power per procedures.
• Test and verify after maintenance or installation.
• Maintain inspection and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore regulations and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for electrical works.
• Review electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Provide technical advice on maintenance and upgrades.
• Respond to emergencies and power failures.
• Ensure PPE and safety procedures are followed.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Job Purpose

To oversee and carry out electrical installation, inspection, testing, maintenance and related electrical works in accordance with the requirements of the Energy Market Authority (EMA), applicable codes and regulations, and the site's safety and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the appointed Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) for assigned electrical installations, where required.
• Conduct and/or supervise electrical inspection, testing, maintenance and repair works.
• Inspect electrical distribution systems, switchboards, DBs and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Carry out electrical isolation, switching and restoration in accordance with approved procedures.
• Perform testing and verification after maintenance, repair or installation works.
• Maintain electrical inspection, testing and maintenance records.
• Ensure electrical works comply with applicable Singapore regulations, codes of practice and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and specialist vendors for electrical maintenance and project works.
• Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams and technical documents where required.
• Provide technical advice on electrical maintenance, upgrading and improvement works.
• Respond to electrical emergencies, power failures and urgent technical issues.
• Ensure proper safety procedures and PPE are followed during electrical works.
• Perform other electrical and maintenance duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Possess a valid Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) licence issued by the relevant Singapore authority.
• Relevant experience in electrical installation, maintenance or facilities management.
• Good knowledge of Singapore electrical regulations and safety requirements.
• Able to carry out electrical inspection, testing, troubleshooting and fault rectification.
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics and single-line diagrams.
• Familiar with electrical isolation and safe work procedures.
• Good communication, coordination and reporting skills.
• Able to work independently and supervise contractors/technical personnel where required.
