Job summary

CONCORD CORPORATION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Licensed Electrical Worker Grade 8 to oversee electrical installations on Singapore sites.

The role requires EMA registration, a diploma in electrical power engineering, and 2+ years of related on-site experience or 5 years with an electrician’s license. Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, inspecting installations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating site testing and commissioning under EMA rules.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Grade 8 – Electrical Technician, registered with EMA.
• Diploma in Electrical / Electrical Power Engineering or EMA-acceptable qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant practical electrical experience in Singapore, or electrician’s license with at least 5 years of experience per EMA.
• Familiar with Singapore Electricity Act 2001 and subsidiary legislation.
• Duties within LEW Grade 8 scope, including electrical installations up to 500 kVA.
• Computer literacy and MS Office / Excel knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and maintain records/documentation.
• Ability to handle duties at site.
• Committed to assigned duties by the company.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspection and responsible for his own temporary electrical installations.
• Monitor and guide on electrical installation and testing works
• Perform testing and monthly inspection on site power tools
• Responsible for the supervision and coordination of subcontractors work at site
• Ensure compliance to statutory regulations, code of practice and the Company’s safety rules and regulations
• Assist and support project site operation, and ensure timely completion of electrical work activities
• The LEW shall ensure that all electrical installations comply with EMA requirements
• Supervision and coordination with OEM and Sub-Contractor on Site Testing and Commissioning.
• Review and endorsement of SLD
• Carry out operational switches under the authorization of Project’s LEW
• Understanding of the subsidiary regulations’ electrical safety in Singapore
• Minimum2 year ofrelevant practicalelectricalexperiencein Singapore, OR Possesses an electrician’s license with at least 5 years of relevant practical experience in Singapore, in accordance with EMA requirements.
