Job summary

Ministry of Defence of Singapore is seeking a Training Development Lead to standardise vocational and instructional programmes, drive resilience and character development, and lead training performance analysis across multiple camps.

You will plan, develop, and monitor work plan targets and deliverables, and manage critical training resources, review syllabi and assessment rubrics, coordinating training activities with staff and trainees across sites.

Qualifications

• Education in any field.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in training development, instructional design, or a related field.
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
• Strong writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes, and remain receptive to new ideas.

Responsibilities

• Translate vocational training requirements into learning objectives.
• Review the syllabi, lesson plans, training standards, and assessment rubrics.
• Oversee the planning of all training activities across schools.
• Diagnose gaps in training effectiveness and propose scalable solutions.
• Perform vocational benchmarking, introducing innovative instructional strategies, and formulating instructor governance plans.
• Lead training performance analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve training outcomes across multiple camps and stakeholders.
• Coordinate training staff and trainees dispersed across different locations.
