Job summary

The AI & Data Office at the Ministry of Manpower is seeking an Assistant Director to drive enterprise data and artificial intelligence initiatives across the organisation. You will develop strategies, coordinate cross-functional programmes, and oversee projects from concept to implementation.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, build partnerships with stakeholders, and champion responsible data and AI use while enabling policy and organisational transformation.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in data, analytics, AI, digital transformation, policy or related fields.
• Experience in data, analytics, AI, digital transformation or programme management.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing complex projects and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience leading teams and driving organisational change is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of enterprise-wide data and AI initiatives.
• Develop strategies and frameworks for responsible use of data and AI.
• Partner with stakeholders across business and policy domains to identify opportunities for transformation and innovation.
• Drive adoption of data-driven and AI-enabled solutions to improve outcomes.
• Oversee strategic projects from concept to implementation.
• Build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to advance data and AI capabilities.
• Develop and implement change management and capability-building initiatives to support adoption.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team to deliver impactful outcomes.
