Job summary

The role requires prior cooking experience in a restaurant, hawker stall or similar setting, familiarity with noodles is a plus, and a WSQ Food Safety Level 1 certificate.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience in a restaurant, hawker stall, or similar kitchen environment.
• Experience preparing noodle dishes is an advantage.
• WSQ Food Safety Level 1 certificate required.
• Reliable team player with positive attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable with hands-on kitchen duties and standing for extended periods.
• Available to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook noodle dishes according to recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces and garnishes before service, and keep station organised and well stocked.
• Manage cooking times and orders efficiently, especially during busy service periods.
• Maintain food safety, personal hygiene and kitchen cleanliness throughout each shift.
• Check ingredient freshness, store supplies correctly and help minimise food waste.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team on daily preparation, service and cleaning duties.
