Job summary

Airbus Helicopters Singapore seeks a junior Finance Accountant to support daily AR/AP duties, GST compliance, and internal controls. You will post supplier invoices, handle receipts, and assist in digital tools adoption.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience, a accounting degree or ACCA, and solid SAP and Google Workspace skills. A meticulous, self-driven team player ready to evolve with the finance function.

Qualifications

• Degree or ACCA with experience in financial accounting.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Taxation (GST, corporate income tax, withholding tax).
• Proficiency in SAP and Google Workspace applications.
• Good interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Self-driven and able to adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily finance operational duties in AR, including preparing sales invoices, receiving receipts, and sending statements of accounts.
• Performs 3-way matching of supplier invoices prior to posting; ensures timely posting and payments.
• Contributes to GST quarterly filing and tax compliance.
• Supports internal controls exercises and audits; adheres to Airbus Finance directives.
• Assists in digital transformation initiatives and ERP migrations; retrieves documents for audits.

Job description

• Performs daily finance operational duties in AR, including preparing of sales invoices (non-trade), taking in receipts, sending statement of accounts.
• Prepares Customer Advanced Payment Schedule

Accounts Payable (AP):

• Performs 3-way match of supplier invoices prior to posting of invoices
• Ensures timely and accurate posting of supplier invoices
• Ensures payments are made on time
• Performs call back to vendors to confirm bank details during bank mapping process

Taxation:

• Contributes to the preparation of quarterly GST filing

Internal Controls:

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and Airbus Finance directives
• Supports in internal controls exercises/audit e.g. Internal Control Self-Assessment (ICSA), FitChecks

Others:

• Supports in Company’s digital transformation (e.g. migration of ERP, deployment of digital tools etc)
• Supports in retrieval of documents for audit (including internal and external audit)
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Personal & Professional Skills

• Degree or diploma in Accountancy or ACCA with experience in financial accounting
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Knowledge in Taxation (GST, company income tax, Withholding tax)
• Proficiency in SAP and Google Workplace applications will advantageous
• Good interpersonal skills
