Job summary

Singapore Land Authority is seeking an Assistant Manager, Estate Management to join a team managing and maintaining state properties. You will handle handovers, conduct inspections, and drive preventive and corrective works while coordinating stakeholders.

As an asset manager you may introduce advanced technologies to enhance maintenance regimes and may participate in island campsite operations or inter‑agency meetings to address infrastructure challenges.

Qualifications

• Background in Facilities/ Estates/ Environmental Management, QS or Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Eng.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical knowledge of pre and post‑contract duties and contract administration.
• Tech savvy and ability to think out‑of‑the‑box.
• May be required from time to time to work at offshore islands.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and recommend improvements; supervise contractors to ensure obligations are met.
• Prepare costings and tender documents.
• Oversee design/construction from inception to completion within time and budget.
• Process property returns from government agencies or tenants and reinstate as required.
• Address public feedback and propose preventive measures to keep properties safe.
• Manage the appointed agent for unallocated vacant land and buildings.
