Job summary

Virtu Financial is seeking a Trading Operations Specialist to support client bookings and reporting for equities trading across Asia Pacific. You will help manage clearance, settlement, and reconciliation of trades, while collaborating with traders, finance, compliance, brokers, custodians, and firm customers to ensure timely settlement and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or up to 2 years’ work experience in finance back office functions (Australia market a plus).
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate systems and diagnose issues.
• Willingness to work early shift hours (Sydney timezone).
• Familiar with MS Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge with SQL and Python is advantageous.
• Proactive, eager to learn and able to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail and customer service attitude.
