Job summary

Marina Bay Sands seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and coordination of arena operational-readiness from development through pre-opening, commissioning, and early operations. The role blends arena operations expertise with design reviews, operating plans, SOPs, licensing and stakeholder interfaces to ensure guest, artist and workforce readiness.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in venue management, event management, hospitality, business, operations, project management or a related field.
• Relevant safety, crowd-management or project-management qualifications are advantageous.
• At least 12 years of progressively responsible experience in venue operations or pre-opening mobilisation.

Responsibilities

• Venue Development and Operator Input: Provide structured operator input into arena design, development and technical coordination with emphasis on event operations, guest journeys, front-of-house and back-of-house.
• Pre-Opening Mobilisation and Operational Readiness: Develop and maintain the integrated operational-readiness plan, milestones and readiness reporting.
• Event Operations, Guest Experience and Crowd Management: Develop operating frameworks for concerts, events and arena uses focusing on ingress/egress, crowd management and venue changeovers.
• Licensing, Safety, Risk and Compliance: Coordinate licensing, authority engagement and compliance planning with relevant functions and external agencies.
• Procurement, Budget and Vendor Readiness: Define operational demands, procurement planning and cost tracking, prioritising readiness.
