Job summary

GLOBALPOINT FAR EAST PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced Architectural Design Coordinator to coordinate design details with clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring alignment with project requirements, regulations, and safety standards.

You will lead design development, manage schedules, supervise sub-contractors, review drawings and specs, and support procurement and contract management while upholding local building codes and best practices; proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of main contractor experience in Design & Build building projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural specifications and MEP coordination.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations and industry practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Architect in coordinating design details between clients, consultants and contractors.

• Study drawings to resolve technical/site issues and inform leadership of problems.
• Prepare and coordinate on Green mark, quality management and CONQUAS assessment.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Architect in coordinating design details between clients, consultants, and contractors to align architectural designs with project requirements, regulations, and safety standards
• Collaborate with project teams to develop architectural designs, schedules, and construction plans
• Manage architectural work scheduling, supervise and inspect all architectural work performed by sub-contractors according to specifications / drawings
• Review project specifications, tender clarifications, and construction drawings to assist in contract and procurement management
• Ensure that stakeholders are actively engaged and that beneficial relationships between the project and the client, subcontractors, community, and other external parties are developed and maintained
• Support the Project Manager in all coordination work of civil, structural, architectural and NSC/Direct Contract works
• Study drawings and coordinate architectural works with the consultants and sub-contractors to resolve any technical / site issues
• Inform Project Director / Project Manager on any technical / site problems pertaining to architectural works
• Prepare and coordinate on Green mark, quality management and CONQUAS assessment

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
• Min 3-7 years relevant main contractor experience in Design & Build building project
• Good knowledge of architectural specifications, Architectural & MEP coordination works and requirements
• Possess strong leadership
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other relevant architectural software is preferred
