Job summary

LKT CONTRACTORS PTE. LTD., Singapore, seeks an experienced architect to support the Project Manager in planning and coordinating architectural works on site.

The role requires a degree in Architecture or Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong communication skills for liaison with clients, authorities and consultants. You will ensure QA/QC, review shop drawings and coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors and other trades to maintain progress and

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in architectural planning.
• Coordinate the on-site architectural works progress.
• Liaise with client’s representative, authorities and consultants.
• Review and update architectural shop drawings; resolve issues.
• Site coordination with supervisors, sub-contractors, consultants and other trades.
• Ensure QA/QC and workmanship meet specified standards.
• Review subcontractors' drawings and submittals.
• Track project progress and identify delays with mitigation.
• Conduct inspections with RE / RTO.
• Prepare weekly progress reports with site supervision team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Assist the Project Manager in architectural planning, co-ordinate the oversee architectural works progress on site
• Liaise with client’s representative, relevant authorities and consultants
• Review and update architectural shop drawings and resolve technical issues
• Site coordination with supervisors, all sub-contractors, consultants and other trades
• Ensure quality in architectural works and QA/QC
• Review, coordinate and comment on subcontractor’s drawings and other submittals
• Ensure workmanship, procedures and method statements comply to specified standards.
• Tracking of project progress and identifying possible delays with mitigating suggestions
• Conduct inspection with RE / RTO
• Liaise with Consultants / Site Supervision Team and prepare weekly progress reports
• Other duties as assigned
