Job summary

PM Group in Singapore seeks an Architect to lead architectural design across project stages, from master planning to construction, collaborating with clients and engineering disciplines to deliver compliant, sustainable facilities.

The role requires a degree in Architecture and at least 5 years’ experience on pharma, semiconductor or industrial projects, with Revit and AutoCAD proficiency and strong presentation skills for client and authority engagements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in architectural design and delivery (pharma/semiconductor/industrial preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Singapore planning & building regulations and submission processes.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; BIM workflows experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for clients and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design from concept through construction.
• Translate requirements into efficient layouts including cleanrooms, data halls and labs.
• Prepare and coordinate drawings, specs, schedules and reports.
• Coordinate with C&S, MEP, process to integrate designs and resolve clashes.
• Manage authority submissions to URA, BCA, SCDF, NEA, LTA and CORENET X.

Our Singapore team delivers complex, fast-track projects from concept through construction and handover. We are looking for an Architect to join our Singapore Business Unit and help shape high-performance facilities for leading global clients.

The Role

As an Architect, you will lead or support architectural design across all project stages, from master planning and concept through detailed design, authority approvals, and construction. You will work closely with clients and engineering disciplines to deliver facilities that are functional, compliant, sustainable, and buildable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs from concept to detailed design, including layouts, building envelopes, and interior fit-out, in line with client brief and operational requirements.
• Translate complex technical and process requirements (e.g. cleanrooms, data halls, laboratories) into efficient building layouts.
• Prepare and coordinate drawings, specifications, schedules, and design reports.
• Coordinate with C&S, MEP, and process disciplines to integrate designs and resolve interfaces and clashes.
• Prepare and manage authority submissions to URA, BCA, SCDF, NEA, LTA, and other agencies, including through CORENET X, and respond to authority comments.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore regulations including the Building Control Act, SCDF Fire Code, Code on Accessibility in the Built Environment, and Green Mark requirements.
• Take part in design reviews, value engineering, constructability reviews, and Design for Safety (DfS) assessments.
• Prepare tender documentation and support the evaluation of contractor bids.
• Provide design support during construction, including reviewing shop drawings and material submittals, answering RFIs, and carrying out site inspections.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover documentation for architectural works.

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in architectural design and delivery, ideally on pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or industrial projects.
• Good working knowledge of Singapore planning and building regulations and authority submission processes.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; experience with collaborative BIM workflows.
• Strong design, technical detailing, and documentation skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage clients and authorities.
• Able to work well in multidisciplinary teams and in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
