Job summary

PM Group in Singapore is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to lead C&S scope across project lifecycles, ensuring designs are safe, compliant, buildable, and delivered on time and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years in C&S design, proficiency with Eurocodes and Singapore regulations, and hands-on experience with ETABS, SAP2000, and BIM platforms. You will collaborate across disciplines to support design, procurement, and construction activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Sound knowledge of Eurocodes and Singapore building regulations (BCA).
• Experience with structural analysis and design software.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and produce technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and composite structures, including foundations, piling, superstructures, pipe racks, equipment supports, and platforms.
• Design civil works such as earthworks, roads, drainage, retaining structures, and external works.
• Prepare design calculations, reports, specifications, and bills of quantities in line with Singapore codes (SS EN Eurocodes) and client standards.
• Produce and check design drawings and models, working closely with BIM modellers and drafters.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and process disciplines to integrate structural requirements and resolve clashes.
• Prepare documentation for authority submissions to BCA, URA, LTA, PUB, NEA, and SCDF, and respond to authority comments.
• Take part in design reviews, value engineering, constructability reviews, and design risk assessments (including Design for Safety).
• Support procurement by preparing technical packages and evaluating contractor bids.
• Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing shop drawings, answering RFIs, and attending site inspections.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards, templates, and tools.

We are looking for a Civil & Structural Engineer to join our Singapore Business Unit and help deliver projects for leading global clients.

The Role

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• At least 5 years of C&S design experience, ideally in a design consultancy or EPCM environment on pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or industrial projects.
• Sound knowledge of Eurocodes and Singapore building regulations and BCA requirements.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structural Designer, or PROKON.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit, or other BIM platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and report-writing skills, and the ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams.
