Job summary

PM Group’s Singapore is seeking a Process Architect to lead design phases from programming through construction administration for life sciences facilities, including cleanrooms and controlled environments.

This mid-to-senior role requires experience with international codes, BIM modeling, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams; you will mentor juniors and help deliver designs on time and within budget across regional projects.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years' experience in the life sciences industry.
• Experience designing cleanrooms and controlled environments for life sciences facilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication in multi-discipline teams.
• Commercial acumen with budget, hours, and change management.
• Familiarity with cGMPs in biotech/pharma/Cell & Gene Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Support resource planning and proposal pricing within the architectural discipline.
• Present PM Group's qualifications to new and existing clients.
• Join client meetings to assess needs and shape project programs.
• Develop conceptual designs and coordinate with the wider engineering design team.
• Design cleanrooms and controlled environments per cGMP and classification requirements.
• Build the BIM model and coordinate with BIM Coordinator and project team.
• Manage design and construction information within cost, time, and quality constraints.
• Develop construction drawings and specifications aligned with client, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Own discipline-level project communications and coordination.
• Mentor junior architectural staff and provide constructive feedback.
• Conduct fieldwork as needed (dimensions, site visits during construction).

About the role

PM Group's Singapore is looking for a Process Architect to be part of that growth. Our office delivers cutting-edge projects for Cell & Gene Therapy, Biologics, and Pharma facilities, from feasibility through qualification, for clients across the region and internationally. This is a mid-to-senior role for someone who's equally comfortable in front of clients and deep in the technical detail, working alongside our Architectural SME team to lead design phases from initial programming through construction administration. You'll bring knowledge of International Building Codes, strong construction document skills (graphics, detailing, specifications), and the ability to manage multiple live projects without losing momentum. You'll also help develop the next generation of architectural talent on the team. Projects span both existing-building improvements and new construction in the life sciences space.

Key responsibilities

About you

• Bachelor's or Master's of Architecture from an accredited institution
• 10 - 15 years' experience in the life sciences industry
• Experience designing cleanrooms and controlled environments for life sciences facilities (classification, material flow, gowning, containment strategy)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication, and comfort working in multi-discipline teams
• Commercial acumen of managing projects to budget/hours and commercial targets, with change management experience
• Familiarity with cGMPs (biotech, pharma, Cell & Gene Therapy) preferred
