Job summary

Chang Hua Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a qualified Architect/Engineer to oversee architectural works on our building projects. You will coordinate shop drawings, liaise with subcontractors and vendors, and ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements on-site.

You will collaborate with architects, structural and M&E engineers to resolve issues, manage scheduling, cost control, and documentation. Prior experience in coordinating drawings and on-site supervision is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Architecture or its equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years and above of relevant site experience in building projects.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings for discrepancies.
• Familiar with local quality standards (BCA CONQUAS) and other Quality Marks.

Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate all architectural work including shop drawings.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and vendors on projects.
• Ensure compliance with architectural specifications and quality.
• Coordinate with architects, structural and M&E engineers to resolve issues.
• Perform scheduling, material requisition, cost control and supervision.
• Attend construction site coordination meetings.
• Review project specs, tender clarifications and drawings.
• Supervise daily architectural on-site implementations.
• Prepare construction method statements and technical proposals.
• Support PM team to ensure works meet schedule and regulations.
• Coordinate all architectural drawings and shop drawings, update progress.

• Review, update and coordinate all architectural work including shop drawings for the project.
• Liaise, supervise and coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors on projects and work.
• Ensure compliance with Architectural specifications and achieve quality aspect of architectural works.
• Coordinate with architect, structural engineer and M&E engineer to resolve construction problems and issues.
• Carry out architectural works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation.
• To attend to construction site coordination works and meeting.
• Review project specifications, tender clarifications and construction drawings
• Carry out daily supervision and coordination of all architectural implementations at site.
• Prepare any necessary construction method statement and technical proposal to ensure smooth transition of works.
• Assist the Project Management team in ensuring that the works are carried out to schedule and in accordance with relevant regulations.
• Coordinate all architectural drawings and works, submit and update status of shop drawings and materials as well as supervise work progress.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree/ Diploma in Architecture or its equivalent
