Job summary

Kerry Consulting is assisting a client in Singapore seeking a seasoned leader to oversee enterprise batch workloads and manage an automation platform across production environments.

You will collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to configure and support batch workflows, ensure service levels, and drive improvements in stability and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of enterprise batch workloads and ensure production schedules run reliably.
• Configure, schedule and support batch workflows within AWA and SAP environments; manage ad-hoc processing, recovery and deployments.
• Administer the AWA platform and support monitoring, backup/recovery, DR and BC exercises.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analyses and implement improvements to enhance stability.

Job description

Introduction

Our client is a leading organization in Singapore that operates a large-scale, business-critical technology environment. The incumbent will lead a team of data center operations specialists, manage the enterprise workload automation platform, and ensure the reliable execution of batch processing, file transfer, monitoring, and recovery operations across a mission-critical production environment.

Responsibilities

You will oversee the day-to-day operation of enterprise batch workloads, ensuring production schedules are executed reliably, and service levels are consistently achieved. Working closely with application and infrastructure teams, you will configure, schedule, and support batch workflows within AWA and SAP environments, while managing ad-hoc processing, job recovery, and deployment activities. You will investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement improvements to strengthen platform stability and operational resilience.

In addition, you will administer the AWA platform as well as supporting enterprise monitoring, backup and recovery operations, disaster recovery and business continuity exercises.

Requirements

You should have at least 5 years of experience in enterprise workload automation, batch operations, or related production support environment, with at least 1 year of experience in managing a team. A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

Key technical requirements include:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWA, SAP, AutoSys, Control-M, or similar enterprise workload automation/batch scheduling platforms.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting platforms such as DX UIM, Datadog, or Splunk; file transfer technologies including MFT, FTP/SFTP; and backup/restoration tools such as Veritas NetBackup.
• Working knowledge of scripting using Shell, PowerShell, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based Incident, Problem, and Change Management, together with familiarity with HA/DR architectures, BCP execution, audit and compliance requirements, access governance, and privileged account controls.
