Job summary

Achieve Group is partnering with a well-established trading firm in Singapore to strengthen its trading systems / ETRM support function. The role offers hands-on exposure to front-to-back commodity trading operations and an opportunity to develop long-term expertise in system reliability and user support.

You will provide day-to-day support for the ETRM/trading platform, troubleshoot issues raised by Trading, Risk, Operations, and Finance, and help ensure data integrity across the trading

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Engineering, Information Systems or CS.
• Approximately 4–5 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with trade lifecycle processes and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for the ETRM/trading platform.
• Troubleshoot trade booking, system, interface, and data issues.
• Support accurate trade capture and data integrity across the lifecycle.
• Monitor batch processes, system jobs, interfaces, and reconciliations.
• Liaise with IT and vendors to resolve incidents and coordinate fixes.
• Assist with testing, UAT, and system enhancements.
• Gather user requirements and document test scenarios.

Job description

We are working with a well-established trading firm in Singapore that is looking to strengthen its trading systems / ETRM support function. This is a strong opportunity for candidates with hands-on trading systems exposure who are keen to build long-term expertise supporting front-to-back commodity trading operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support for the ETRM / trading platform to ensure smooth and stable system operations


• Troubleshoot trade booking, system, interface, and data-related issues raised by Trading, Risk, Operations, and Finance users


• Support accurate trade capture and ensure data integrity across the trading lifecycle


• Monitor daily batch processes, system jobs, interfaces, and reconciliations to ensure timely completion


• Maintain and support market data feeds, price curves, reference data, and system configurations where required


• Assist with investigation of P&L, risk, settlement, and reporting-related discrepancies linked to system data


• Liaise with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve incidents, elevate issues, and coordinate fixes


• Support system enhancements, configuration changes, upgrades, and testing activities including UAT


• Gather user requirements and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance trading workflows and controls


• Prepare documentation including issue logs, process notes, and test scenarios where required

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline with approximately 4-5 years relevant experience


• Familiarity with trade lifecycle processes including trade capture, pricing, market data, risk, P&L, settlements, and reporting


• Experience supporting users in a fast-paced trading environment with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities


• Exposure to system enhancement projects, testing, or implementation work would be advantageous


• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both business users and technical stakeholders effectively
