Job summary

Job description

• IT point of contact for Fixed Income Front Office.
• Support traders in their daily tasks involving electronic markets, risk analysis, pricers and trade booking systems
• Provide thorough and clear analyses to unblock, assist and accompany the business on functional IT topics and issues
• Carry out morning check on applications and follow the sun with global support teams
• Contribute to improving the production through the automation and follow-up with global teams
• Show accountability and be aware of all risks within its activities / scope of responsibilities
• Create and maintain functional/technical/user documentation
• Act as an IT support point of contact for FIC FX / Rates / Credit Front Office users in Singapore, with interaction across Asia-Pacific and global teams.
• Support users in daily activities involving electronic markets, pricing, pricers, negotiations, risk analysis, trade booking and STP workflows.
• Perform morning checks, health checks and monitoring of key applications, and follow up on alerts or anomalies with appropriate teams.
• Investigate functional and technical issues, provide clear analysis, and contribute to timely resolution of incidents and user requests.
• Communicate regular updates on incidents, requests and enhancements, ensuring transparency on status, next steps and ownership.
• Contribute to incident management, post-mortem preparation, root cause analysis follow-up and target solution tracking.
• Maintain strong relationships with local users, global support teams, local helpdesk, development, infrastructure and project teams to support business continuity.
• Create and maintain functional, technical and user documentation, including support procedures and knowledge base materials.
• Contribute to production improvement through automation, monitoring enhancements, simplification and process standardization.
• Participate in project activities, testing, implementation support and handover into live service under senior guidance.
• Show accountability and risk awareness within the role scope, escalating appropriately when production, operational or business risks are identified.
• Maintain/Develop knowledge of FIC / FX products, front-to-back workflows, trading processes and SG systems through daily support and structured learning.

Profile Required:

• Some experience working in IT in Technology solutions facing the Front office in the banking industry
• Strong technical background (databases, middleware) with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Strong appetite for financial knowledge and ability to learn and adapt quickly to new environment and knowledge
• Preferrable experience in electronic trading either Fixed Income,FX, Credit, Rates.
• Ability to find solutions for challenging, time-critical problems
• Autonomy, sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills at business writing level
• Foster collaboration between teams (locally and globally)
• Functional knowledge in Interest Rates Derivatives Products, Credit and Financing is a strong plus
• Development experience is a strong plus (e.g. C#, Python, VBA) + Continuous Delivery Practices / Tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in working on global enterprise level system is a plus
• Experience in applying Agile practice is a plus
