Job summary

OneEmpower Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an entry-level Application Support specialist to provide first-line assistance to users, classify problems on the spot, and inform the project team for follow-up actions.

You will track incident status, maintain operation procedures and documentation, and support deployments, builds, and release notes to users and the project team.

On-the-job training will be provided; a Higher Diploma in computer science or related discipline is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of application support experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux, shell scripting, Java, Oracle, SQL.
• Familiarity with WebLogic or WebSphere is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level of application support to users.
• Classify the problem on the spot and provide immediate response.
• Inform project team for follow up actions.
• Track the problem status and update user on incident status.
• Maintain technical operation procedures and documentation.
• Perform project build and deployment to different environment.
• Prepare and deliver release note to users and project team.
• Support setting up the demonstration environment for Business Development Team.
