Job summary

CARL ZEISS VISION SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an Application Engineer to support AIMS and MeRiT systems in semiconductor mask solutions. You will diagnose issues, prepare detailed reports, and bridge customer needs with HQ teams to drive timely resolutions.

Responsibilities include leading tests, delivering trainings, creating use-case materials, and coordinating with HQ for continuous improvements. Occasional travel domestically and internationally is required to support customers and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in engineering, physics or related semiconductor field
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• 3+ years in semiconductor/applications/technical support roles

Responsibilities

• Act as first-level owner for AIMS at customer sites and diagnose issues
• Prepare clear technical issue descriptions for HQ support
• Bridge customer requirements between site and HQ
• Lead or support Acceptance Tests for AIMS deliveries
• Deliver customer training on AIMS usage and workflows
• Develop and share AIMS use cases for improvement
• Create solution concepts with HQ application teams
• Track customer actions and ensure timely closure
• Demonstrate and roll out updated software and explain impact
• Prepare technical presentations to support sales and solution positioning
• Build and maintain MeRiT application knowledge and lead MeRiT support
• Lead regular technical meetings and provide feedback to customers
• Provide remote and on-site technical support and guidance
• Develop application-related technical materials for sales and education
• Track action items and issues to ensure timely resolution
• Provide weekly MeRiT system reports to HQ
