Job summary

ZEISS Semiconductor Mask Solutions is seeking an Application Engineer to support AIMS and MeRiT systems, acting as the primary technical liaison at customer sites and with HQ. You will diagnose issues, deliver training, and drive continuous improvement across applications.

Applicants should have a relevant technical degree and at least 3 years in semiconductor roles, with strong English communication. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• University degree in science/engineering/semiconductor technology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in semiconductor industry, preferably in application engineering or technical customer support.
• Strong written and spoken English; ability to explain complex topics clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Act as first-level application owner for AIMS at customer sites and diagnose issues.
• Prepare clear, factual issue descriptions for HQ support and root cause analysis.
• Bridge customer and HQ communications, capturing requirements and escalation topics.
• Lead or support Acceptance Test Protocol activities for new AIMS systems.
• Deliver customer training on AIMS system usage and workflows.
• Share use cases and lessons learned to improve applications.
• Develop concepts with HQ and support rollout with customers.
• Track customer action items and ensure timely resolution.
• Demonstrate software releases and explain impact to customers.
• Prepare technical presentations to support sales and customer discussions.
• Support MeRiT application with focus on e-beam technology and chemistry.
