Job summary

Apple is seeking an Apple Pay eCommerce Merchant Specialist in Singapore to initiate and engage with potential merchants and drive Apple Pay acceptance across digital channels. You will lead the end-to-end enablement, partner with Apple Pay Technical Specialists, and nurture merchant relationships through implementation and growth initiatives.

Ideal candidates have strong sales experience, Japanese and English language proficiency, and the ability to navigate large organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 3-5 years of sales or business development experience.
• Fluent in Japanese with high English proficiency for stakeholder communication.
• Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and sales cycles.
• Proven track record in quota-carrying roles and pipeline forecasting.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills within large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing new merchant opportunities through emails, outbound calls, or inbound lead follow-up.
• Managing and supporting merchants through the full Apple Pay enablement cycle, from discovery to launch.
• Identifying key players, and managing end-to-end enablement with merchants and payment partners.
• Supporting merchants through post-go live growth initiatives (UX audits, conversion optimization, anomaly detections).
• Establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships.
• Onboarding merchants with Apple Pay integration in partnership with Apple Pay Technical Specialists.
• Building and delivering a communication strategy to evangelize Apple Pay to merchants via in-person events or webinars.
• Providing updates on account and pipeline progress and productivity KPIs to leadership and wider Apple teams.
• Maintain merchants contacts and update pipeline status in the internal CRM system.
