Job summary

GitLab is hiring a Manager, Sales Recruiting (APJ) to lead regional recruiting across APJ, partnering with regional Sales leaders to hire quota-carrying and go-to-market talent. Build hiring strategies that reflect local market nuances and develop a team of recruiters.

You will recruit for senior and specialized Sales roles as needed. You will design scalable interviewing frameworks, advise on market insights, and ensure a fair, data-informed candidate experience across markets such as

Qualifications

• Experience building and leading recruiting teams for Sales or GTM orgs across multiple APJ markets.
• Ability to partner with senior Sales leaders and advisory on talent needs and market insights.
• Strong data analytics to drive recruiting strategy and stakeholder communications.
• Experience discussing compensation and on-target earnings across markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop recruiters supporting a variety of sales roles, using coaching and development plans.
• Design scalable recruiting strategies and interview frameworks across APJ markets.
• Advise regional Sales leaders on talent needs, market insights, and hiring trade-offs.
• Navigate compensation norms and employment models in multiple markets with Legal and People partners.
• Embed DEI into recruiting processes and hiring decisions.
• Manage personal requisition load for senior and specialized sales roles.
• Track team performance and improve hiring strategies using data.
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Sales Ops, Enablement, People Partners, Compensation, and Finance on workforce planning.
