Job summary

Moody's is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Strategy and Business Management team in APAC. You will help formulate initiatives, coordinate with Moody’s affiliates, and drive AI-enabled improvements that enhance decision-making and execution.

You will analyze market data, prepare strategic presentations for leadership, and manage country and office activities while supporting growth opportunities across the region.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in business analysis or related role within financial services, research, data or analytics.
• Strong understanding of global and regional capital and credit markets with analytical capabilities and strategic thinking.
• Experience in project management, market or industry research, business-model analysis, financial modelling and valuation.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with AI fluency and ability to use AI models and build AI agents for business analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear business materials.
• Resourceful, creative and highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to formulation and execution of Moody's Ratings’ APAC strategy.
• Support evaluation of growth opportunities for Moody's Ratings in APAC, including new markets and partners.
• Analyze internal and external market data to monitor regional developments and opportunities.
• Prepare strategic presentations and materials for meetings with global and regional senior management.
• Support affiliate relationship management, governance, oversight, and collaboration across Moody’s group.
• Identify and implement AI-driven use cases to enhance regional management efficiency.
• Lead planning, organization and coordination of country management and local office activities.
