Job summary

Cohere, the security-first AI company, seeks a Senior Director of Solutions Architecture for Asia Pacific to own the regional scope across Korea, Japan, and SE Asia. You will lead the APAC team, build credibility, and drive technical wins with strategic accounts.

You will partner with Sales, Product and Engineering to translate customer needs into platform improvements, set regional direction, and own critical governance and deployment outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Solutions Architecture or related fields with 7+ years leading customer-facing teams.
• Experience building an APAC regional technical org and a network of senior relationships.
• Proven ability to hire, coach and develop high-performing teams.
• Hands-on technical credibility with solid engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Asia Pacific Solutions Architecture team through hiring, coaching and career development.
• Partner with regional Sales to pursue and close strategic enterprise opportunities across sectors.
• Establish and own the regional coverage model across Korea, Japan and SE Asia.
• Lead executive workshops, discovery sessions and technical deep dives with C-suite stakeholders.
• Develop architectures, roadmaps and proposals aligning customer objectives with Cohere’s platform.
• Guide deployment of enterprise AI solutions ensuring security, governance and data residency.
• Create repeatable assets, playbooks and best practices to improve win rates.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Sales to align customer needs with platform evolution.
