Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Manager, Solutions Architecture for Data to lead the APJC data strategy and oversee a distributed team of Specialist Solutions Architects across six geos.

You will sponsor strategic customer opportunities and act as the CTO-style advisor to the Head of Data, shaping the roadmap for AI-ready data estates. You will coach across Storage, Database, and Analytics, collaborating with GTM teams, and translate customer insights into scalable technical strategies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar technical roles experience.
• Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders.
• 10+ years of technology solutions architecture with depth across storage, database, or analytics.
• Experience across large-scale data workloads, including database, data warehouse / analytics, and storage architectures.

Responsibilities

• Hire, on-board, train, and develop Specialist Solutions Architects across Storage, Database, and Analytics across APJC.
• Own the technical data strategy for APJC, define reference architectures, best practices, and the technical narrative for AI readiness.
• Act as executive technical sponsor and top escalation point on strategic and complex customer opportunities.
• Serve as the technical advisor to the Head of Data, translating customer signal into strategy.
• Act as liaison between customers, service teams, and support, feeding feedback to product leadership.
• Drive impact at scale through reusable assets and enablement.
