Job summary

SMBC Asia Pacific is accelerating AI-driven transformation with a dedicated AI CFT. The Senior AI Solution Architect leads enterprise AI architecture, design principles, and governance for scalable, secure solutions across Asia Pacific, leveraging Copilot Studio, Foundry, GitHub Copilot, Power Platform, Dataverse, and Databricks AI.

Collaboration with stakeholders across architecture, cybersecurity, risk, data and engineering enables reference architectures and guardrails for AI agents, both

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in technology or architecture roles.
• 5+ years delivering enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
• 2–4 years delivering AI/Generative AI solutions on Azure ecosystem.
• Proven experience defining enterprise design principles and governance.
• Knowledge of Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot, Foundry, Power Platform, Dataverse, Databricks AI, and Azure OpenAI.
• Experience with RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, and AI agents.
• Experience implementing SDLC, DevSecOps, and MLOps for enterprise solutions.
• Ability to communicate architecture clearly to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end AI architectures for enterprise use cases.
• Establish AI design principles covering security, privacy, and governance.
• Develop target-state and reference architectures with implementation roadmaps.
• Lead architecture reviews, workshops, and governance forums.
• Provide build-versus-buy recommendations for regulated environments.
