Job summary

Ambition, on behalf of a well-established automotive company with a strong international footprint, is seeking an experienced Sales Planning (Assistant Manager) to support the APAC business. You will work closely with Country Managers, Operations and regional teams to drive sales performance and enhance operational efficiency across markets.

Responsibilities include leading APAC sales planning, managing forecasts, inventory and allocation; analyzing performance data; partnering with stakeholders

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Sales Planning, Sales Operations, Commercial Planning or related function.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Comfortable working with multiple markets and stakeholders across APAC.

Responsibilities

• Lead APAC sales planning and support regional business planning and review processes.
• Manage sales forecasts, orders, inventory levels and product/model allocation across markets.
• Analyse sales performance, demand trends and inventory data to identify opportunities and risks.
• Partner with Country Managers and Operations teams to address supply, sales and inventory challenges.
• Manage regional sales KPIs, dashboards and weekly/monthly reporting.
• Analyse internal and external data to provide actionable business insights.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve planning processes and systems.
• Support regional initiatives to maximise sales performance and operational efficiency.
