Job summary

Abbott is seeking an APAC Regional Demand Planning Manager to lead the demand planning cycle across Asia Pacific, coordinating with country teams, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Global Operations to produce high-quality forecasts that drive commercial decisions.

You will analyze market drivers, develop scenarios, and build governance across APAC while coaching stakeholders on forecasting best practices and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, engineering, analytics, or related discipline.
• 7–10+ years of relevant experience in demand planning, S&OP/IBP, supply chain planning, or business analytics.
• Regional or multi-country planning experience strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical capability combined with demonstrated commercial understanding.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar analytics experience preferred.
• Healthcare, diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other complex multi-market industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the APAC demand planning cycle across markets and product portfolios.
• Consolidate and critically review country forecasts with clear assumptions, data, and drivers.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, perform root-cause analyses, and drive actions.
• Identify demand trends, risks and opportunities and provide insights to regional leadership.
• Develop scenarios to support decision-making when market or supply conditions change.
• Partner with country commercial teams to translate market intelligence into demand implications.
