Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Analyst, Revenue Recognition to partner with Sales, Legal and Finance teams, applying ASC 606 to SaaS contracts and guiding revenue treatments in a fast-paced, global environment.

The role emphasizes contract negotiations, audit coordination, SOX reporting, training, and process improvements, with opportunities to leverage AI tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field required.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA) preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration across global, cross-functional teams.
• Experience with SaaS revenue recognition and ASC 606 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales, Sales Operations, Pricing, and Legal during contract negotiations and provide guidance to ensure proper Revenue recognition.
• Review complex revenue contracts for compliance with US GAAP and determine the appropriate accounting treatment.
• Engage with external auditors and respond to changes in the audit approach; implement global SFDC process improvements for quarterly/annual reviews.
• Advance the use of Agentic tools to deliver best in class support.
• Maintain documentation for all review and compliance work completed.
• Lead training on revenue recognition rules, policies and practices within the Company, especially in Sales.
• Deliver high standards of departmental, cross-departmental and cross-region customer service.
• Collaborate with Revenue Recognition team and business partners to develop and maintain SOX Revenue reporting and analysis as needed.
• Lead and assist with other special projects as needed.
