Job summary

Informatica S.E.A. Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Analyst, Revenue Recognition in Singapore. You will partner with Sales, Legal, Sales Operations, and Pricing to guide contract negotiations and ensure proper revenue recognition in line with US GAAP for a SaaS business.

The role requires strong financial acumen, experience with ASC 606 principles, and the ability to work across virtual and global teams. You will lead training and drive process improvements, including SOX compliance, with an emphasis

Qualifications

• Ideally a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
• Qualified Accountant or equivalent, ACA / ACCA preferable.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales, Sales Operations, Pricing and Legal during contract negotiations to ensure proper Revenue recognition.
• Review complex revenue contracts for US GAAP compliance and determine accounting treatment.
• Engage with external auditors and respond to changes in audit approach and implement global SFDC process improvements.
• Advance the use of Agentic tools to deliver best in class support.
• Maintain documentation for all review and compliance work completed.
• Lead training on revenue recognition rules, policies and practices within the Company and Sales organization.
• Deliver high standards of cross-departmental and cross-region customer service.
• Collaborate with Revenue Recognition and finance partners to maintain SOX compliance.
• Perform revenue reporting and analysis as needed.
• Lead and assist with other special projects as needed.

The Experience

In this visible and exciting role, the Senior Analyst, Revenue Recognition, will partner with the Sales, Legal, Sales Operations, and Pricing teams, play a trusted advisor role for customer contract negotiations, and perform contract review for Revenue Recognition compliance.

The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast paced and constantly changing environment across many different functions within the business and the finance organization. A successful applicant will have a strong working understanding of ASC 606, with experience in application of the standard to a SaaS business model in the tech industry. Further, the candidate must excel in managing and understanding a wide range of issues and business models that could be driven by acquisitions, Revenue Recognition requirements, and strategic shifts in go-to-market strategies including the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

What You'll Actually Be Doing

• Work with Sales, Sales Operations, Pricing, and Legal during contract negotiations and provide suggestions and guidance in order to ensure proper Revenue recognition


• Review complex revenue contracts for compliance with US GAAP and determine the appropriate accounting treatment


• Engage with external auditors and understand/respond to the changes in the audit approach and implement global SFDC process improvements necessary to streamline the quarterly/annual reviews


• Advance the use of Agentic tools to deliver best in class support


• Maintain documentation for all review and compliance work completed


• Lead training on revenue recognition rules, policies and practices within the Company, and in particular within the Sales organization


• Deliver the highest standard of departmental, cross departmental and cross region customer service


• Work with the Revenue Recognition team and respective business partners to develop and maintain SOX Compliance


• Revenue reporting and analysis, as needed


• Lead and assist with other special projects, as needed
